The 2026 2nd International Conference on Electronic Information Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (EIEAI 2026) was successfully held on September 18–20, 2026 at China West Normal University in Nanchong, Sichuan, China. The conference was sponsored by China West Normal University and organized by the School of Electronic Information Engineering of China West Normal University, with support from the Nanchong Institute of Electronics, the School of Medical Imaging of North Sichuan Medical College, the School of Physics and Electronic Information Engineering of Neijiang Normal University, and the School of Electronic Information Engineering of Yibin University. More than 200 experts and scholars from China and abroad attended the conference. The event featured 4 keynote speeches, 6 invited talks, 26 oral presentations, and 16 poster presentations.

The opening ceremony began with remarks by Professor Ping Ren, Vice President of China West Normal University, and Professor Hankui Liu, Dean of the School of Electronic Information Engineering at China West Normal University. The opening was chaired by Professor Chen Jianjun, Vice Dean of the School of Electronic Information Engineering at China West Normal University. 

In the keynote speech session, four renowned experts shared insights on frontier topics such as microwaves, antennas, edge intelligence, and light-field reconstruction. Professor Kama Huang from Sichuan University (Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Engineering, national-level high-level talent) presented a macroscopic kinetic model for microwave chemistry. Professor Mingchun Tang from Chongqing University (IEEE Fellow, national-level high-level talent) explained the theories and methods of broadband beam miniaturized antennas and high-density arrays. Professor ZhengChang from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (national-level high-level youth talent) shared his work on distributed edge intelligence in wireless networks. Professor ZongjuPeng from Chongqing University of Technology introduced light-field super-resolution reconstruction technology.

On the afternoon of September 19, two parallel sessions were held simultaneously, chaired by Professor ZhengmingTang, Vice Dean of the School of Electronic Information Engineering at China West Normal University, and Professor ZhengyongFeng, Vice Dean of the School of Electronic Information Engineering at China West Normal University. Experts and scholars from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Sichuan University, the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lingnan University, Southwest University of Science and Technology, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Xi’an Technological University, Central South University, and China West Normal University gave presentations. Their topics covered electromagnetic computation and design, medical image segmentation, UAV perception, time-series prediction, power electronics control, FPGA system design, and more.

The conference also included an awards session, in which Outstanding Oral Presentation Awards and Outstanding Paper Awards were presented to recognize the excellent performance of the participating authors. The conference strongly promoted innovation and application of cutting-edge technologies in electronic information engineering and artificial intelligence, and provided a high-level platform for academic exchange among scholars in related fields.
